Robert can often be found driving to painting locations in his classic MG, (or even his bicycle) with his French easel bungeed onto the vehicles’ luggage rack. His interest in bicycling, scuba diving and Sports Car license races often lead to potential painting subjects. While Bob is primarily a Plein Air artist, this Best in Show piece represents another of his interests: “…cityscapes, …what I call store front paintings[and chose to do it] in a brighter light with more vibrant color and simplified detail.  I have many times found the perfect time and location…for a future painting while on one of my rides...”
